Holo-Battle Interlink: Aniimo's Weekly Co-op Boss Mode

Three simulated Alpha fights, star ranks that reset weekly, and rewards for both clearing and carrying — the full 1.1 co-op mode guide.

Holo-Battle Interlink is Aniimo's weekly co-op boss mode, added in the version 1.1 update (September 23). Developed by the in-game Battle Art institute, it uses simulation tech to recreate Alpha encounters from historical data on high-threat Aniimo — three routes, three powered-up Alphas, a star-rank ladder and rewards that reset every week. This guide covers the schedule, unlock, scoring and how to actually climb the star totals.

The essentials

One planning note: the weekly window means Tuesday and Wednesday are dead days for this mode — front-load your attempts Thursday and Friday so you have the weekend to push star totals.

How a run works

1
Form the team. Four players, or the game fills empty slots with AI companions — you never need to scrap a run for lack of a fourth.
2
Customize your Aniimo lineup per route. Each route's Alpha and environment demand different coverage — check elements against the type chart before locking in.
3
Select buff effects before battle. In 4-player co-op the Team Leader picks the buffs for the group; solo-with-AI players choose their own. Match the buff to the route's Alpha and its environment mechanics.
4
Fight the simulated Alpha. Stars are earned by how much damage you deal to the Alpha — the more of its HP you take, the higher your star rank on that route.
5
Repeat freely. Only your best Star Rank per route counts, so a bad attempt costs nothing but time.

Star ranks and the two reward tracks

Team building for Interlink

Damage is the metric

Stars come from damage dealt to the Alpha. Bring your highest-throughput comp — the five combat roles in the right balance, tuned for damage windows.

Break opens the damage windows

BREAK stuns are where real DPS happens. A dedicated Break specialist turns a slugfest into a rhythm — full rules in the break system guide.

Read the route environment

Each route has unique environmental mechanics beyond the Alpha itself — the best buff and team choices react to the route, not just the boss element.

AI teammates are viable

Matching with AI is a legitimate way to clear routes and bank stars on your own schedule; coordinate with humans when pushing for top star ranks.

For deeper comp theory, our late-game teams guide breaks down the archetypes that clear hard content, and the tier list ranks individual creatures for these exact fights.

FAQ

What is Holo-Battle Interlink in Aniimo?

A weekly 4-player co-op PvE mode added in version 1.1. It simulates Alpha boss encounters from historical data on high-threat Aniimo: three routes per cycle, each with its own Alpha and environmental mechanics, a star-rank scoring system, and milestone rewards that reset every week.

When is Holo-Battle Interlink open?

Every week from Thursday 04:00 to Monday 03:59 (UTC+8), after the weekly update. The mode is closed Tuesday and Wednesday. It requires character rank Trailblazer I.

Can you play Holo-Battle Interlink solo?

Yes — the game fills empty team slots with AI teammates, so you can run routes without a group. Human teams mainly matter when pushing the highest star ranks.

How do star ranks work in Holo-Battle Interlink?

Each route tracks your highest Star Rank separately, and stars come from how much damage you deal to that route's Alpha. Milestone rewards unlock from your combined star total across all three routes, and helping other players improve their ranks earns separate Support rewards. Both reward tracks reset weekly.
