Aniimo Type Chart: All Elements, Strengths & Weaknesses
Quick answer: Aniimo creatures use nine elements — Fire, Water, Grass, Lightning, Ice, Earth, Wind, Dark, and Light. A strong matchup deals 1.6× damage, a neutral hit deals 1×, and a resisted hit deals 0.625×. Light and Dark counter each other both ways. Many Aniimo have two elements, and weaknesses stack on dual-element creatures.
Element Strengths & Weaknesses

| Grass | Earth, Water | Fire, Wind, Dark |
| Lightning | Wind, Water | Ice, Dark |
| Ice | Lightning, Water | Fire, Earth |
| Earth | Ice, Fire | Water, Grass |
| Wind | Dark, Grass | Lightning, Light |
| Dark | Light, Lightning, Grass | Wind, Light |

How to Read the Aniimo Type Chart
New to type charts? Three numbers run the whole system, and one direction rule tells you which side of the table you are on:
- 1.6× — you hit a weakness. The attack element is strong against the defender's element. In Aniimo this also fills the enemy's break meter faster, so strong hits are both damage and BREAK progress.
- 1.0× — neutral. No relationship; damage passes through unchanged.
- 0.625× — you got resisted. The defender's element is strong against your attack element. 0.625 is exactly 1/1.6, so a resisted hit undoes a strong hit's advantage.
Reading the matrix below: rows are the attacking element, columns are the defending element. Find your attacker's row, run across to the defender's column, and read the multiplier. Fire's row against Water's column reads 0.62 — Fire attacks get resisted by Water targets. Flip it around (Water row, Fire column) and it reads 1.6 — Water attacks hit Fire for bonus damage.
Dual-type defenders: check each of the defender's two elements separately and multiply. Water attacking a Fire/Earth defender is 1.6 × 1.6 = 2.56× (double weakness); Water into a Grass/Earth defender is 0.625 × 1.6 = 1.0× (the two effects cancel); Water into a Grass/Lightning defender is 0.625 × 0.625 = 0.39× (double resist). The full rules live in our dual-element guide, or skip the math entirely with the checker below.
Matchup Checker: Pick Two Elements
Select an attacking element and one or two defending elements (two = dual-type Aniimo). The checker applies the multiplier math for you.

How Dual Elements Work
Some Aniimo carry two elements (for example Coraliz is Rock/Water — Earth/Water in our naming). Matchups are checked against both elements:
- Attack strong against both elements: damage stacks to 2.56×.
- Strong against one, neutral against the other: 1.6×.
- Strong against one but resisted by the other: 1.6 × 0.625 = 1.0× (cancels out).
- Resisted by both: 0.39×.
Skill elements matter too: a skill's element can differ from the Aniimo using it, so check the skill's element before assuming a matchup.
Element Name Aliases
Parts of the community and some in-game screens use different names for the same elements:
- Lightning — also called Electric
- Earth — also called Rock
- Light — also called Holy
FAQ
Does hitting a weakness do anything besides more damage?
Yes. Hitting an enemy's elemental weakness also boosts your BREAK damage, which fills the enemy's break meter faster. Once broken, the enemy is stunned and takes a burst of extra damage — so elemental advantage helps both your damage and your break pressure.
What is the best element in Aniimo?
There is no single best element. Water and Grass cover many matchups (Water is strong against Fire and Earth; Grass against Earth and Water), while Dark and Light counter each other both ways, making them high-risk, high-reward. In practice, team diversity wins: keep several elements available and switch when the enemy resists your main attacker.
Do these multipliers change with patches?
Values on this page reflect the launch version (September 2026). If a patch changes elemental multipliers, we will update the chart. Always double-check in-game via the Type Matchup panel if something looks off.
