Operation: Egg Heist — the Umbrabow Factory
The extraction mode behind every Umbrabow — egg drop rates, Chaos Mode tickets, and the variant table that keeps names straight.
Operation: Egg Heist is Aniimo's extraction mode — and the only current source of Umbrabows, the collector-tier variant that does not spawn anywhere in the open world. It is also the best farm for Prismana eggs and prismatic collectibles, especially in its enhanced Chaos Mode. This guide covers the mode, the rewards, and the math that makes teaming up the default.
What Egg Heist is
- Extraction gameplay — go in, get the goods, get out; a different loop from bossing or puzzle dungeons
- Umbrabow source — exclusive eggs from this mode are the only path to Umbrabows, the sub-category related to Prismana (variant taxonomy in the Prismana guide)
- Prismana egg farm — the drop rates for Prismana Aniimo eggs and prismatic collectibles make it the efficient farm for rare-variant chasers
- Secret Collectibles — ultra-rare collectible items appear in this mode; completionists live here
Chaos Mode: the enhanced difficulty
Version 1.1 added the team-mode Chaos Mode (unlocked September 24, 04:00 UTC):
| Feature | Detail |
|---|---|
| Entry | Costs a Chaos Ticket per run |
| Egg drop rates | Significantly higher Prismana Aniimo Egg drop rates than standard runs |
| Collectibles | Higher prismatic collectible rates, plus chances at ultra-rare Secret Collectibles |
| Teamplay | Teaming up is highly recommended — per official notes, Chaos Mode is tuned for groups |
The practical read: standard Egg Heist is the casual loop; Chaos Mode is where the real egg economy lives. Save tickets for group runs rather than solo spends.
Why Umbrabows matter
Umbrabows sit at the top of the variant hierarchy — collector-tier creatures related to Prismana, obtainable only by hatching this mode's exclusive eggs. They do not appear during storms, Wild Surges or anywhere else. If the collection log is your endgame, Egg Heist is not optional content — it is the content.
For stat-chasers rather than collectors: Umbral Aniimo (different from Umbrabows) come with Perfect Potential and spawn during Wild Surges — that hunt is covered in the Bloom & Nurture guide. The two names are easy to cross; the table below keeps them straight.
| Variant | Source | Special |
|---|---|---|
| Umbrabows | Egg Heist exclusive eggs only | Collector tier, related to Prismana |
| Umbral | Wild Surges (and rare open-world chance) | Perfect Potential stats |
| Prismana | Prismana storms, one per zone | Added Light element |
